Wild Bee Publishing is a one person operation located in West Lafayette, Indiana, between Chicago and Indy. My Solis People of the Sun game started with trying to make realistic star maps around 2011-13, and morphed into a full bore game being played from 2015 on, the longest of which lasted around 5 years. Looking to start again.
The setting incorporates a lot of modern science-fiction, from Reynolds, to Hamilton, and encompasses a lot of older sci-fi as well, like Delaney. Generally it tries for real science, which includes the solarpunk ethics of optimism, and sustainability, and transhumanist themes such as life extension. Set only 250 years in the future, it is close enough to be familiar, and distant enough to be strange.
